Getting a temperature reading with this IR thermometer is as easy as pointing to an object and reading its temperature. Its construction consists of optics, temperature sensor, signal amplifier, processing circuit and an LCD display.

This thermometer features a laser on/off switch and an auto power and temperature data hold button. After 20 seconds of inactivity, the thermometer will automatically shut itself down to save battery life, and it can be switched to read Celsius and Fahrenheit.
